Among the organizers, the Winter Karaoke Party is nicknamed “Conaoke” – probably because the organization difficulty is similar to a small convention and, above all, it’s easier than reciting the whole name every time. This year’s events earned the traditional pre-Christmas gathering a new nickname: “Coronaoke”.
Despite the lockdown, we were determined to organize an online version (potential visitors voted in favor in the survey), so the annual meetup tradition remained unbroken.
Ten years, nine seasons of the series, a feature film, a successful spin-off, countless fan animations, drawings, music, merch, meetups, conventions… unbelievable! And for long-time fans, it’s like yesterday, when they came across ponies for the first time.
On the occasion of the tenth birthday, it doesn’t make much sense to commemorate specific events or milestones – each of us experienced them a bit differently, similar to our favorite series and things related to it. Like the characters in the series, each of us carries own unique story: the first encounter with MLP: FiM, the first episode, the first fanwork found, the first meetup… so whatever your life journey with ponies by your side was or is, it remains (in one form or another) our integral part. Story short or long, finished or still ongoing, but above all at least partly common to all of us.
“And the Magic of Friendship that accompanied us,” you ask, “where is it hiding?” Look where our stories have met and still meet! There, the magic of friendship shines even after all those long years. Don’t you believe it? Look back and take a good look… Whether near you or in the distance, it’s still there!

Over a year ago, the biggest MLP: FiM convention took place in Baltimore (USA) for the last time. Czech and Slovak Bronies could not miss the grand final show! We brought back a ton of unforgettable memories.
While nothing compares to a personal experience, we can share a bit of the great atmosphere with you via our stories, photos, and videos. Thanks to Fang, who documented the whole event and edited the clip below, you can also feast your eyes on the amazing things prepared for visitors from all around the world. It’s been said, that everything that began has to come to an end. Saying goodbye is especially hard when we go through something extraordinary – and we sure may say the very last BronyCon was just like that!
Hi, everypony! It’s almost a year after Czequestria and the world of conventions changed, unlike anything we knew so far. Now, when we can’t meet each other so easily, all the amazing moments we shared in the past can give us the light in these darker times.
Memories of the time spent together represent the hope, that one day we’ll meet again and enjoy the Magic of Friendship as we know it!
When we moved to Sokolovna Řepy venue many years ago, it didn’t seem possible that we could have a problem with space in any near future – after all, the cultural center can easily accommodate more than a hundred people. This year, with record attendance, convinced us of the opposite…
